This contest is designed to stimulate entrepreneurial activity and greater awareness of the resources available to grow entrepreneurs in Iowa. All winners will be selected on an objective basis as determined by the criteria set forth below. You must read and comply with the rules to enter the Iowa Business Plan Competition (the Competition). This competition is void where prohibited by law.

Initial Applications and Executive Summaries Accepted:
March 1 through April 18, 2008.

Invited Complete Business Plans Due *:
June 30, 2008

* Those selected to enter the competition will be notified of their acceptance between April 18 and May 16, 2008

Announcement and awards will be presented at the annual Iowa Venture Capital and Entrepreneur Conference.

• $25,000 for first prize
• $15,000 for second prize
• $10,000 for third prize
