ISU Research Park
The Iowa State University Research Park is
a rapidly growing technology community of more than 50 companies. It is surrounded by a major
research university, federal laboratories, and people ready to invest in technology start-up
and more mature companies. The ISU Research Park links technology creation, business formation,
and development assistance with established technology firms and the marketplace.
The ISU Research Park plays a key role in the economic development activities of Iowa State
University as it relates to technology transfer. It is part of a comprehensive innovation network.

ISIS Incubator
The Technology Incubator,
also known as Iowa State Innovation System (ISIS), reflects Iowa State's commitment to leadership in
economic development and technology transfer and is an integral part of the university's sophisticated
research network. The ISIS program is a technology incubator, which identifies technology-based
concepts and businesses at early stages of development and provides an environment for their growth.
To date, ISIS has supported over 80 start-up companies with its various partnerships, programs,
and services. Its most significant partnerships are with the ISU Business Development Center and the
ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship.
