CYstarters is a 10-week summer accelerator for Iowa State students or recent graduates to focus on their startup or business idea. Students will receive $6,000 for individual or up to $12,000 per student team for the opportunity to spend their summer dedicated to achieving their startup goals and pursuing entrepreneurial aspirations.
CYstarters’ Program, May 22 – July 28, 2017
Description of program activities:
- Accountability pitches: The CYstarters 10-week program is designed so that every week the startup will have accountability pitches to the Pappajohn Center staff, mentors, and the rest of the startups.
- Educational sessions: Each week we will focus on a different aspect for starting a business and the resources one might need.
- Panel discussions: 1-2 times per month, we will bring in an interactive panel made up of industry leaders to discuss specific topics as they relate to business, entrepreneurship, startups and more.
