The ISU Entrepreneur Club is to encourage and inform students about participating in entrepreneurship, to foster friendships among students who share similar interests, to instill passion about building sustainable ventures, & to provide members with a learning & support platform to minimize risk and to maximize success. We also want to promote the integration of science, art, and technology into viable social creations!
Steven Brockshus, CEO of Terva, will be the guest speaker at the Entrepreneur Club!
Terva is a web-based marketplace for buying, selling and renting farmland. With just a couple of clicks, landowners can search a nationwide database of farmland listings, auctions and sale results. Terva is on a mission to bring transparency to the agricultural industry by making the world’s farmland information accessible, starting with rural Iowa. Brockshus grew up on a fifth-generation family dairy farm in northwest Iowa. He founded Terva in 2016 while at Iowa State University, then graduating in 2017. Brockshus will talk about his journey and lessons learned as an entrepreneur.
This will be our final speaker for the semester. We will also have officer positions available in the club, so if you’re interested please attend this meeting!
