Kauffman 1997-1998 Interns

The ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship placed twelve student interns in entrepreneurial companies this summer as part of the 1998 Kauffman Entrepreneur Internship Program. This is the second year the Pappajohn Center has offered this internship program.

The purpose of the program is to provide students with an experiential learning opportunity and to expose them to the challenges and rewards of small business ownership. Hosts are matched with a student who can provide value to the company during the summer employment term.

Internship positions were open to undergraduate and graduate students in any major at ISU. Interns received $5,000 to work full-time for their host company. During a closing ceremony in September, each intern gave a presenation about his or her experience
