2001 Iowa Venture Capital Conference
The Iowa Department of Economic Development, the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Centers, and Equity Dynamics are pleased to partner in presenting the annual Iowa Venture Capital Conference.
The Iowa Venture Capital Conference is an opportunity for companies, investors, and entrepreneurial students to network, attend informative workshops, and learn from keynote presentations. Discussions will focus on numerous topics, including business plan development, deal structure, and venture capital. Real case studies will highlight entrepreneur and investor relationships. If you are interested in Iowa's economy or your own entrepreneurial development, plan on attending this exciting event! And bring someone you know who is an entrepreneur, investor or student!

Business Plan Competition - Win $5,000 For Your Entrepreneurial Ideas!
John Pappajohn has graciously announced that he will provide $5,000 seed awards to three Iowa students who develop viable business plans. Applications and competition guidelines will be available at the Iowa Venture Capital Conference or through the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Centers (Drake, NIACC, University of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa and Iowa State University).

Directions
The Polk County Convention Complex is located at 501 Grand Avenue, Des Moines. Guests can enter the Convention Complex from the Grand Avenue entrance, or use the Skywalk connection from the parking garages and hotels.
