On November 5, Iowa State hosted the Entrepreneur’s Organization Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), where six finalists, five of whom were from Iowa State, pitched their businesses and shared their entrepreneurial journeys. Finalists included:

Madeline Ladehoff (ISU Entrepreneurship)

Rachel Payton (Drake University)

Following presentations from each finalist, Ray Schmidt, founder of Farm Story Meats, CYstarter alumni, and Ivy MBA student, was awarded the Global Student Entrepreneur Award! Ray will advance to GSEA Nationals in summer 2022. Congratulations Ray!
