Iowa Go-To-Market Announces Fall 2024 Cohort
The Iowa Go-To-Market (G2M) program, a collaborative initiative by the ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship, BioConnect Iowa, and VentureNet Iowa, is excited to announce its Fall 2024 cohort, featuring two innovative startups preparing to accelerate their commercialization efforts and secure equity investment or generate initial revenue. This intensive program equips early-stage, technology-based, scalable companies with the tools and mentorship needed to scale and contribute to Iowa’s economic growth. After two months of individual strategic planning, the program is kicking off with tailored content for the participants.
The selected companies for this cohort include:
Upvote – Founded by Kasey Clary and Zack Krawiec, Upvote streamlines access to centralized, actionable policy data for government affairs professionals, offering a more efficient and cost-effective solution.
Invasive Removal – Led by founders Dewayne Higgs and Mark Vande Haar, Invasive Removal develops smart robotics solutions to address invasive species in forest ecosystems.
Over the next three months, these founders will sharpen their focus on commercialization and execute key business strategies to advance their startups toward sustainable growth.
The G2M team—Peter Hong, Hannah Kirkendall, and Jon Kallen M.S., Esq. —encourages other founders to apply for the Spring 2025 cohort (starting April 2025). Interested entrepreneurs can learn more by reaching out to Hannah Kirkendall at hkirkend@iastate.edu.
