Iowa Go-To-Market Accelerator Selects Three Iowa Startups for Fall 2025 Cohort

The Iowa Go-To-Market (G2M) accelerator—a partnership between the ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship, BioConnect Iowa, and VentureNet Iowa—is happy to announce its Fall 2025 cohort!

The G2M accelerator supports technology-driven startups as they strengthen their business models and accelerate toward commercialization. Through hands-on mentorship, tailored strategic guidance, and access to an expansive network of industry experts and investors, participants begin with individualized planning sessions before diving into focused programming that sharpens their go-to-market strategy and positions them for long-term growth.

Meet the Spring 2025 Cohort:

  • Renner Ag Solutions – Led by Caleb Renner, this ag tech company is developing a novel device designed to clean out grain bins with the press of a button, improving both efficiency and safety for farmers.
  • Ama AI – Co-founded by Karri Haen Whitmer and Christ Whitmer, Ama AI is a lifelong companion for neurodivergent children and their families, offering continuous support across clinic, home, school, and every environment where life happens.
  • Terraform Tillage – Led by Josh Jeske, Terraform Tillage builds smart soil compaction mapping tools that help farmers target tillage where it pays and protect soil where it doesn’t.

Peter Hong, Director of the ISU Startup Factory, noted that this cohort reflects both Iowa’s strengths and its evolving innovation landscape: “This G2M cohort represents both a return to companies representing the current and future strengths of Iowa. The two Ag Tech companies, Renner Ag Solutions and Terraform Tillage, are the result of the creativity and innovation in problem-solving to use technology to boost the operational efficiency of row crop farming tasks. Ama AI represents the rapidly growing explosion of inventors applying AI to improve everyday tasks. The G2M team and its network of service providers are excited to work with these companies to meet the challenges of launching their businesses.”

Over the next three months, these startups will engage in intensive planning, strengthen customer and market strategies, and prepare for significant growth opportunities.

Apply for the Spring 2026 Cohort

Applications are now open for Iowa-based, scalable startups interested in joining the next G2M cohort. Eligible companies must have completed a previous incubator or accelerator program. G2M accepts applications on a rolling basis, with cohorts beginning in April and October. For more information, founders can contact Peter Hong at petehong@iastate.edu.
