 If you are an international student interested in starting a business or startup,  and want to learn more about the rules for entrepreneurship as a student, and pathways after graduation, join an information session on Monday March 30, 4:30-6pm at the Memorial Union, Room 3580.
The ISU Student Government IDEA Committee, and ISU Startup Factory will host a panel discussion on pathways for international student entrepreneurs featuring perspectives from:
  • International Student and Scholars Office Director Elliot Uhl and Assistant Director David Sappenfield
  • Immigration Attorney Kailee Blazek-Naranjo, Dentons Davis Brown
  • Immigration Attorney Matt Mauntel-Medici, Brown Winick
The panel will cover topics like:
  • F-1 Visa Rules for employment
  • CPT, OPT and STEM OPT paths
  • H-1B Sponsorship, and other visa types
  • Green Card pathways for founders
  • Common mistakes and risks
  • Financial Considerations
